Singular Motorsports is owned by Ryan Passey, builder and driver of the HyperMiata. Singular Motorsports offers high performance products like hood louvers/vents, wing endplates, brake ducting, and more for Miatas, WRX/STIs, S2000s, Corvettes, and more.
Blackbird Fabworx is a fabrication shop that can make just about anything you can think of. Their bread and butter are high end roll bars for the Mazda Miata/MX-5, but they have a range of other products like engine mounts, fire extinguisher brackets, tow hooks, and more.
The roll cage in the HyperMiata was fabricated at Blackbird Fabworx. It’s a full cage designed to transfer suspension and aero loads through the chassis in addition to providing crash safety to the driver. There are more than 20 connections between the cage and chassis . In addition to the cage, many other components on the car were developed and made in partnership with BFW including the large carbon fiber front splitter.
Magic Developed leant their expertise to planning and building the wiring harnesses, and selecting and configuring the electronics in the HyperMiata. Once things were up and running in the car, they also assisted with sensor setup and AIM display configuration, utilizing their years of endurance racing experience for everything from display layout to multi-level warnings.
